Who is Ray Santiago? Glad you asked. Ray Santiago is a veteran New York-based pianist-composer-arranger whose rootsy, essential, salsa is of the most authentic Latin music to come out of this city, period. He was a founding member of the legendary group Saoco and has collaborated with Henry Fiol. His salsa has effectively captured the flavor of lower East Side NYC Afro-Latino soul.
